With a  5 gauge fineness  and a sober aesthetic, this Ballantyne roundneck jumper embodies the brand’s tradition and its Scottish roots. Made from 100% Soft Shetland wool, it reinterprets the classic yarn from the Shetland Islands, where the harsh climate forged a unique fibre.

In the past, Shetland fishermen would leave their jumpers outdoors so that the yarn would naturally tighten, becoming warmer and more durable. From this tradition we propose Soft Shetland, which preserves the character and tactile quality of the original wool, but with a softness designed for contemporary comfort. A garment that combines authentic texture with enveloping warmth, conveying the strength of a centuries-old heritage in a refined and modern form.
